Chapel St Medard is a small chapel in stone with a roof of lava stone and flat tiles is located in the hamlet of Sens. The original chapel was probably built in the 4th century and the nave rebuilt in the 17th century after a fire that destroyed the roof. Each year for the feast of Saint Médard, many pilgrims came to the spring that flowed under the lid of the sarcophagus, next to the chapel. It was believed that this sarcophagus was the Saint's tomb.
