Barony Pump
Barony Pump is a historic stone water pump in Sennecey-le-Grand, built of local limestone and once used as a communal source of fresh water.
Barony Pump is a simple yet characteristic rural water pump, made from solid Burgundy limestone. Once operated by a hand-pump mechanism, it supplied drinking water to the nearby residents before the arrival of modern plumbing. Although the metal parts have disappeared, the stone structure remains fully visible and preserved. It stands as a small but meaningful reminder of everyday village life in past centuries.
